Suba Diving in Madeira
Scuba diving in Madeira has gained in importance
amongst visitors to the island during the last years.
With a mild climate all the year round, water temperatures
of 18 to 23°C, depending on the season, crystal
clear waters and a real likelihood of viewing such
species as barracudas, monkfish, dolphins, rays and
mantas are the main reasons why scuba divers consider
the island of Madeira more for their diving
holidays.
There are several diving schools or leisure companies,
located mainly in Funchal and Caniço de Baixo,
which provide courses at all levels, diving excursions
forthe more experienced and equipment hire.
